Our team join the effort of European research community to battle the impact of coronavirus outbreak supported by the call of the European Commission SC1-PHE-CORONAVIRUS-2020-2C within H2020: Research & Innovation Actions (RIA). The consortium of 8 universities prepared a proposal with aim to develop an evidence-based guideline for public health authorities of the member states to advise national governments in action to respond to a disease outbreak with minimal impact on key determinants of health of specific population segments.

Our team join the effort of European research community to battle the impact of coronavirus outbreak supported by the call of the European Commission SC1-PHE-CORONAVIRUS-2020-2C within H2020: Research & Innovation Actions (RIA). The consortium of 8 universities  (Palackeho University in Olomouc, Czech Republic, Syddansk Universitet Denmark, Universidaded de Coimbra, Portugal,  FISABIO Valencia, Spain, MUCG/RUG Groningen, The Netherlands, Escuela Andaluza de Salud Publica Sa Spain, UPJS Kosice, Slovakia) submit a proposal BALANCE (Behavioral, sociAL ANd eConomic assEssment of coronavirus outbreak impact on mental health and health inequalities) aiming to develop an evidence-based guideline for public health authorities of the member states to advise national governments in action to respond to a disease outbreak with minimal impact on key determinants of health of specific population segments.  Proposals were submitted by 126 consortiums and the results of the evaluation process will be known in August 2020.
