Members of a number of HBSC countries are collaborating on an international effort known as Teen Health Week to be celebrated during 18-24 March 2018.
The idea began in the USA (specifically the state of Pennsylvania), through Dr. Laura Offut, a member of the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine, and the College of Physicians in Philadelphia, to raise the profile of adolescent health in the state and address issues of relevance to young people’s health. Teen Health Week has grown within the US and is keen to go global. The goal is to get as many people as possible talking about #teenhealth during that week in March 2018 thus raising awareness within our circles and globally of matters that relate to adolescent health (there are suggested daily themes).
Also Slovakia via the Children organization FENIX participate in this activity with many different interesting activities showed on the website or in the video.
