Mgr. Simona Horaničová (1993) graduated with a Master’s degree in psychology from the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice in 2019. During her studies she was interested in clinical psychology and the goal attainment process among different age groups. The aim of her Master’s diploma thesis was focused on exploring the way young people set their goals and overcome the obstacles during the process of the goal achievement. At the present time, she is a PhD student at the Department of Health Psychology, Medical Faculty, Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice. Her thesis is focused on the characteristics of the Generation Z in the school context, specifically on the children’s attitudes towards school and education and their association with health and family and school factors. She is also a member of Health Behaviour in School-aged Children study (HBSC).
