Assoc. prof. Zuzana Dankulincová Veselská, PhD. (1981) received her Master degree in Psychology (Faculty of Arts, University of Prešov) and PhD. in Medical Sciences (University of Groningen, The Netherlands). She is an associate professor in Social Psychology (Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic, 2016). At present time, she is in the position of the associate professor at the Department of Health Psychology and Research Methodoly, Faculty of Medicine, P.J. Šafárik University in Košice. She participated and still participates in several projects of national research agencies (APVV, VEGA), the institutional research projects (HepaMeta) and European projects (RIVER-EU, SOPHIE, International Visegrad Fund). In addition, she is a deputy of the principal investigator of the Slovak national team in the Health Behaviour of School-aged Children study (HBSC). Since 2010 she is a member of the European Health Psychology Society and since 2011 its Slovak national delegate. During her doctoral studies, as well as in her ongoing work at the university, she is focused on research in health psychology and public health with her current focus on improvement of system of care for adolescents with emotional and behavioural problems. She published 62 scientific articles in SSCI journals with 838 citations in SSCI journals with h-index 15. In 2010 she received the SHARE PhD Top Publication Award.
