Stanislava Kováčová

Stanislava Kováčová received her master’s degree in psychology from Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic. She obtained several scholarships to take courses/carry out research at multiple universities around the world, e.g. University of Groningen, the University of Helsinki, the University of Arizona, and the University of Tehran. Her academic interests include social psychology. Besides her academic focus, she has been actively practicing psychology – as a school psychologist at an elementary school and a mental health counselor on online therapy platforms. Her PhD thesis is focused on the psychological and social determinants of early childhood development in marginalized Roma communities.
