Jana Plavnická

Mgr. Jana Plavnická, PhD. (1991) received her Master degree in Social work (Faculty of art, PJ Safarik University in Košice) and PhD. in Integrative social work (Faculty of art, PJ Safarik University in Košice). Her dissertation thesis was focused on social integration process of immigrants in Slovakia. During her postgradual studies, she was interested in research methodology and statistical data processing. She worked in the state service for the Roma Communnuties as an social worker. At present, she is studying psychology at the Department of psychology in University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava. Currently, her research is focused on reducing inequalities in vaccine uptake in Roma communities in Slovakia.
